Key Outcomes

• Manage deployments across Development, Staging, and Production environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
• Implement Canary and Hotfix deployment strategies within CI/CD workflows.
• Provide guidance and approval for Ruby on Rails (Ruby) scripting performed by junior engineers, ensuring smooth deployment across development environments.
• Automate deployments, health checks, and environment recovery using Bash, Ruby, and Python.
• Review and approve CI/CD scripts and pull requests, ensuring high code quality.
• Use Terraform to script and provision cloud infrastructure.Monitor system health and ensure 99.999% uptime using Datadog.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to improve workflows and reduce manual tasks.
• Integrate security scanning and stress testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze performance data and implement auto-scaling and auto-healing strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong experience building CI/CD pipelines from scratch and maintaining them.
• Proficiency with Terraform and a deep understanding of infrastructure-as-code.
• Hands-on experience with AWS ECS and related AWS tooling.
• Expertise in CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
• Solid knowledge of Canary and Hotfix deployment strategies.
• Experience integrating security checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficient in scripting with Python (mandatory), Bash, and optionally Ruby.
• Experience with observability tools like Datadog.

Nice-to-have

• Ruby on Rails experience.
