Kryptonite is a Web3 platform designed for the NFT trade community. Developed by a team of blockchain experts, it provides a subscription-based hub for discovering, analyzing, and trading NFTs in a transparent and secure environment.
In the midst of the NFT surge in the early 2020s, many platforms became cluttered and prioritized hype over informed decisions. Kryptonite focused on offering a neutral space for both newcomers and experienced analysts. With various subscription tiers, users gain access to trading tools, analytics, and a News section to help them make informed decisions within volatile NFT exchanges.
The NFT buy and sell market faced a trust problem due to a lack of transparency in pricing, legitimacy, and market dynamics, with trading often driven by hype. Traders needed a platform for serious research within a supportive community.
Creating this platform involved establishing a viable subscription model that could foster genuine analysis within the community, while also leveraging Web3 infrastructure for real-time trading in the NFT market crypto.
The founding team had the vision, but they required a full partner to turn their concept into a beta launch, managing branding, design, product development, and technical architecture.
Capicua partnered with Kryptonite from the early stages, starting with branding and product discovery to establish the visual identity and principles guiding the project. We then focused on UX and UI design for the platform app and landing page.
Technology-wise, we built the platform using Next.js for the front end, Node for the back end, AWS for cloud infrastructure, and Hasura as the GraphQL engine. Apollo GraphQL was implemented to provide secure, scalable authentication for the NFT trading platform.
The product was developed and launched to beta users, allowing Kryptonite to engage real community members from day one instead of waiting for validation.
