Responsibilities

• Convert mock-ups and design concepts into fully functional, responsive Shopify websites
• Customize Shopify themes and templates to reflect brand identity and enhance UI/UX design
• Develop and integrate third-party applications and plugins to extend store functionality
• Ensure smooth navigation, efficient checkout processes, and seamless payment gateway integration
• Optimize site performance by improving load times, time-to-interact and reducing bounce rates
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather business requirements and deliver tailored technical solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve design and functionality issues promptly to ensure ontinuous store operation.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify and e-commerce development.

Qualifications

• Proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for building responsive and interactive front-end interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of Shopify’s platform, including checkout operations and inventory management.
• Hands-on experience with Liquid, jQuery, AJAX and Bootstrap for custom development and theme enhancements.
• Experience in creating and customizing Shopify apps and accounts to expand store functionalities.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and the ability to build user-centric interfaces.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices to ensure high search engine visibility for Shopify websites.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Detail-oriented mindset and commitment to delivering high-quality work within deadlines.
