Designed for organizations in need of real-time data management, modeling, analysis, and visualization, Activating Cloud accelerates decision-making and reduces operational risk through an intuitive interface. With data infrastructure as a key differentiator, MCF was looking to partner with a product provider that matches its technical ambition.
Building an enterprise-grade data platform is a significant challenge that requires a scalable, secure architecture and an intuitive user interface for non-technical users. MCF sought a technology partner to connect its advanced data analytic platform's cloud infrastructure with a user-friendly design. Their vision included a managed data warehouse with manipulation tools, real-time collaboration, and a scalable design system.

Capicua developed the Activating Cloud platform in collaboration with MCF and Microsoft Azure, with a focus on both FE and BE. The front end used React, Redux, and Material UI for a modern design that supports complex data visualization. The back end was built with Node.js and TypeScript, ensuring tighter integration and reducing context switching.
We implemented Azure Vaults, Frontdoors, and Functions for robust security and performance, using PostgreSQL for data management and integrating Kafka, Redis, and Snowflake for high-throughput data processing. The outcome is a fully managed data warehouse with real-time collaboration tools and a scalable architecture.
